Arnica Salve

Arnica salves are commonly used to support the body after physical strain, impact, or overuse. Historically, arnica preparations were relied upon for bruises, sore muscles, stiff joints, and areas that felt tender or stressed—especially following activity, injury, or long days on the body.

We begin with extra virgin olive oil and camelina oil as the nourishing base, slowly infused with whole arnica and calendula. These plants have a long history of topical use for comforting the skin and supporting tissue response after bumps, falls, or exertion. Arnica CO₂ extract is included to provide a concentrated botanical profile, complementing the infused herbs while remaining gentle on the skin.

Cypress and German chamomile essential oils are added to support circulation, calm the skin, and provide a grounding, soothing aromatic profile. Beeswax gives the salve its protective structure, allowing it to warm on contact and remain in place rather than absorbing too quickly. Vitamin E and rosemary CO₂ help preserve freshness and stability while aligning with the salve's clean, traditional formulation.

The texture is smooth, rich, and grounding—designed for localized application and gentle massage. This salve is best used intentionally on areas that feel bruised, sore, or tight, allowing time for the botanicals to settle into the skin and support the body’s natural recovery process.
