We use a premium, natural form called Bioxan® SF, and it’s very different from regular Vitamin E.
Most “Vitamin E” in skincare is actually lab-made dl-alpha-tocopherol, which the body doesn’t recognize as well. Bioxan® SF is made from real sunflower seeds, so it contains the full spectrum of natural tocopherols.
Because it has a broader antioxidant profile, it shields delicate herbal infusions from heat, light, and air much more effectively than basic Vitamin E oil. This keeps our creams fresher, longer, without synthetic preservatives.

Is this a natural alternative to synthetic lubricants?
Yes. It’s a clean replacement for conventional lubricants and warming gels that often contain irritants or hormone-disrupting chemicals.
Can I use this with condoms?
Yes—but only with latex-free condoms. Oil breaks down latex.
Does this stain because it's oil based?
If a small amount is used, it may not transfer so easily. However, because it contains natural oils, we recommend using older sheets or a towel if you’re concerned about any oil transfer.
Is this safe for internal use?
Yes. It is designed for intimate use, including vaginal and external application. Avoid use with latex condoms.
Is this the same as a topical arousal balm?
It is both a lubricant and an herbal arousal balm thanks to its warming spices, circulatory herbs, and gentle menthol tingle.
If the "effect" is a concern, we recommend trying a very small amount on sensitive tissue that isn't so close to an erogenous area.

In addition to this, it does not contain any synthetic ingredients that are petrol based.

Lover’s Lube is an oil-based lubricant, and offers longer-lasting moisture and natural slip compared to typical water-based gels. However, latex is not compatible.
